organized many activities and events on green tourism such as: "Green Tourism Week",
                  "Green Tourism Development Forum", "Green Investment Conference"; "Plastic Waste

                  Free Tourism Workshop",... Many green tourism models have been built and formed
                  such as the model "Green Tourism Village" (Lam Dong), "Green Tourism Village" (Son
                  La), Sustainable rural tourism products: Thanh Dong village organic vegetable garden,
                  Cam Thanh commune, Hoi An city (Quang Nam); Sustainable urban tourism products:
                  Sa  Vi  border  information  and  propaganda  cluster,  Mong  Cai  city  (Quang  Ninh);
                  sustainable  community  tourism  products:  Thai  Hai  ecotourism  stilt  house  village
                  conservation area (Thai Nguyen)...
                        With the efforts of the tourism industry from the central to local levels, Vietnam's

                  tourism has achieved very encouraging results in recent times. Before the COVID-19
                  pandemic broke out, Vietnam's tourism industry had achieved a series of continuous
                  growth for 10 years (2011 - 2019), international visitors increased from 6 million in
                  2011  to  18  million  in  2019,  the  average  growth  rate  for  the  whole  period  reached
                  14.7%/year; domestic visitors increased from 30 million in 2011 to 85 million in 2019,
                  the average growth rate for the whole period reached 13.9%/year (Figure 3).

                        Along with the increase in the number of visitors, total revenue from tourists and
                  the contribution of the tourism industry to GDP also increased significantly. In 2011,
                  total revenue from tourists was only 130,000 billion VND, contributing 3.1% to GDP;
                  by 2019, total revenue from tourists had increased to 726,000 billion VND, contributing

                  9.2% to GDP (Figure 4).
