A survey of the reality of tourism development in a number of localities shows that
many localities have been implementing green tourism plans and programs such as: Son
La, Ha Giang, Ninh Binh, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Lam Dong, Dong

Thap, Can Tho, etc...
Quang Nam focuses on developing tourism associated with preserving cultural
heritage values (Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Relic Site) and natural heritage (Cu Lao
Cham World Biosphere Reserve). Quang Nam considers conservation work as an
important factor, deciding the development of tourism in the province with the
orientation of "preserving to develop, developing to preserve". In addition, Quang Nam
also focuses on developing many types of green tourism such as: rural agricultural

tourism - Tra Que vegetable village, tourism associated with experiencing the flooded
forest ecosystem - Cam Thanh coconut forest, tourism associated with preserving
traditional craft villages - Thanh Ha pottery village, etc... The tourism development
strategy as well as the orientation of green tourism products increasingly build the brand,
affirming the position of Quang Nam as one of the most attractive tourist destinations in
the country. However, climate change, unusual weather, and natural disasters are great

threats to the development of green tourism in Quang Nam in recent times, directly
affecting the system of relics and heritages, reducing the attractiveness of tourism
resource values. At some times of the year, Hoi An and some tourist areas of Quang
Nam province welcome a very large number of visitors, the risk of exceeding the
capacity of resource space, and overloading the tourism environment is also a problem
for Quang Nam.
Dong Thap is a province that is heavily affected by climate change. However,
