However, people do not have a clear understanding of what e-commerce waste is,
with about 62.6% of survey participants not fully understanding it.

When further surveyed about the awareness of the impact of e-commerce waste on
sustainable economic development, the results showed that a significant number of
people, over 71.4%, understood its influence on sustainable economic development.
More than 50% of the surveyed individuals clearly recognized the impact of e-
commerce waste on sustainable economic development.

According to the respondents, over 60% believe that e-commerce waste has a
serious or very serious impact on the environment. Among them, 34% indicated that
e-commerce waste has a very serious impact on the environment, while 30.1% felt that
it has a serious impact.
