- To ensure effectiveness, it is necessary to establish a monitoring and evaluation
system to measure the amount of waste generated from packaging and to assess the

5. Conclusion
The issue of e-commerce waste is not only a significant challenge in the current
digital age but also an increasingly urgent problem on a global scale. The explosion of
e-commerce has brought many benefits in terms of convenience and diverse
consumption, but it also comes with a range of environmental and social issues. Online
shopping often involves a large amount of unnecessary packaging materials, from
cardboard boxes to plastic bags and bubble wrap. This increase not only creates waste
but also contributes to environmental pollution.
In facing these challenges, collaboration from all stakeholders is essential, from
businesses to government and the community. Companies need to focus on developing
eco-friendly and recyclable products, as well as optimizing supply chains to minimize
waste. The government should implement supportive policies and regulations, while
also encouraging research and innovation in electronic waste management. Consumers
also play a crucial role in reducing e-commerce waste by choosing durable products and
prioritizing purchases from environmentally committed businesses. Furthermore,
raising awareness and educating the community about electronic waste issues is an
important part of the solution.
In summary, addressing the issue of e-commerce waste requires cooperation and
effort from all stakeholders, along with the pursuit of innovative and sustainable
solutions to protect the environment and create a sustainable future for the next
generations.
