In the field of green agriculture, according to the Vietnam Organic Agriculture
Association, the total area of organic agricultural land in 2021 is 119,105 hectares,
accounting for over 0.5% of agricultural land. This figure has increased significantly
compared to 2016, when it was 53,350 hectares. However, this result is still quite modest
compared to the 71 million hectares of organic farming worldwide and compared to

11.53 million hectares of agricultural land in Vietnam .

Vietnam ranks 7th among Asian countries in terms of organic agricultural land
area and 3rd among ASEAN countries. To date, the country has 60 units trading,
distributing and exporting organic agricultural products. By 2022, Vietnam will have
about 59/63 provinces and cities implementing organic agriculture; The number of
farmers participating in organic production is 17,168 people; The number of organic
production enterprises is 97 enterprises; There are 60 enterprises participating in export

with an export turnover of about 335 million USD/year. Vietnamese organic agricultural
products are consumed domestically and exported to 180 countries around the world,
including the US, European Union (EU), China, Japan, Germany, UK, Korea, and
Russia, Singapore, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy... These are the largest organic

agricultural product consumption markets in the world .
According to the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association, in 2022, Vietnam's
organic agricultural product export turnover will reach over 335 million USD/year.

Compared to the world organic market value of about 183 billion USD, this number is
still modest, but it partly demonstrates the efforts of the Vietnamese agricultural industry
in realizing the goals expressed in the Development Project. Organic agriculture 2020-
2030 approved by the Prime Minister. To achieve this result, in recent years, many
localities have boldly invested capital and science and technology to
