Future research should focus on optimizing extraction processes, characterizing the bioactive compounds responsible for antimicrobial activity, and scaling up production under industrial fermentation conditions. The robust performance of M. purpureus HG12 highlights its value as a sustainable solution for the food, pharmaceutical, and biotechnological industries.
