5.1.1. Recommendations for policymakers
In order to implement GHRM practices effectively, Vietnam’s policymakers

policies will encourage SMEs to adopt more sustainable practices in terms of
recruitment, training and retention of their labor force to achieve sustainable

knowledge about the ‘green economy’, and ‘green growth’ to all classes of people.

resource management practices to gain green growth.

a sustainable legal framework involving green human resource management practices.

legal principles and guide them to implement green practices effectively to gain
sustainability.
Fourthly, Vietnam’s policymakers should facilitate and apply policies to support
the green businesses. It is essential to give SMEs a priority to access high-tech,
environmentally friendly industries, community welfare and develop skill-focused
training programs to support workforce’s participation in the green economy.
