The following Table 3 presents the respondents’ opinions on the impacts of GT&D
on SGEG in Vietnam’s SMEs with the average weighted mean of 3.64 and standard
deviation of 0.79. The effect enhancing employee satisfaction and retention within
enterprises focused on sustainability was ranked the highest with a weighted mean of
3.78 while the impact developing a skilled workforce for green industries and leading to
measurable improvements in environmental performance and sustainability outcomes
were ranked second with the same weighted means of 3.64. The respondents viewed
enabling employees to engage better in sustainable practices and leading to increased
innovation in sustainable technologies as the third and the fourth with the weighted
mean of 3.59 and 3.56 respectively.
