“External Factors” in Table 4. The research results also clearly show that the
sub-criterion “Green Growth Awareness of tourism businesses” (C11) of the main

criterion “Readiness of tourism businesses” (C1) with the final value t11=0,182 is the
biggest affecting sub-criterion to green growth activities in tourism businesses. The sub-
criterion “International Integration (Globalization)” (C54) of the main criterion
“External Factors” (C5) with the final value t54=0,007 has the least impact on the green
                  growth activities in tourism businesses.
                        5. Conclusion
Green growth must be the focus of countries, prioritizing sustainable economic
growth while minimizing resource use and carbon emissions (Arzova & Şahin, 2024).

Promoting green growth in businesses is currently an effective solution to ensure the
successful implementation of the goals in the 10-year Socio-Economic Development
Strategy for the period 2021-2030 of Vietnam. Researching factors affecting green
growth activities in tourism businesses plays an important role in changing, improving,
and innovating the green growth process of tourism businesses, thereby strongly
promoting green growth activities based on Hanoi tourism businesses and the general

tourism economic context of the country.
The research results show that 5 main factors have affected green growth activities
in Hanoi tourism businesses today. The first factor is “the Readiness of tourism
enterprises” including Awareness of the green growth of tourism businesses; Green
inputs of tourism businesses; and Green behavior of tourism businesses. The second
factor is “Green inputs of tourism businesses” including Capital (green finance); Green
human resources; and Green growth orientation of tourism businesses. The third factor

is “Green behavior of tourism businesses” including the factors of Green product/service
                  development of tourism businesses; Green process improvement of tourism businesses;
Green R&D; and Green management of tourism businesses. The fourth factor is “the
Benefits of tourism businesses”, specifically Economic benefits; Environmental
benefits; and Benefits of competitive advantage of tourism businesses. The fifth factor
is “External factors” including Tourist demand; Pressure from competitors; National

policies on the tourism economy; and International integration (Globalization).
This study shows that tourism businesses as well as tourism organizations in
conjunction with the Hanoi government need to use more measures to raise awareness
of tourism businesses as well as the tourism industry workforce on green growth and
sustainable development. State policies, combined with Hanoi tourism development
policies, need to promote tools to support the development of green human resources
for tourism businesses such as creating conditions for training support, disseminating
knowledge of green growth, green products or green production, and service business

activities... for tourism labor, creating conditions for businesses to better access green
production processes, research, and development of green growth as well as science and
technology and physical infrastructure towards green growth and sustainable
development for the tourism industry. In addition, financial banking organizations and
