458 PROCEEDINGS OF INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON APPLIED BIOTECHNOLOGYPhu Yen%u2019s climate is characterized by a tropical monsoon oceanic climate, with temperature fluctuating significantly by month. The average annual temperature in Phu Yen province ranges from 25.3 to 30%u00b0C and varies strongly according to topography. Phu Yen is a province familiar with aquaculture and perennial crops and is currently undergoing a transformation with a high-tech industrial-scale dairy farming project. However, there have been no studies on the dairy farming situation here, as the project only began in 2019.This study aims to evaluate and identify the interacting factors between seasons, birth weight, weaning weight, and weight gain of the Holstein Friesian (HF) breed raised for the first time in Phu Yen province. The fluctuations in technical indicators will contribute significantly to the assessment and orientation of sustainable herd development, increasing farming efficiency and thereby ensuring the development of healthy heifers with good milk-producing ability. The research results will provide valuable information on the characteristics of birth weight, weaning weight, and weight gain of the typical HF breed. From there, it can advise and support farmers in managing dairy calves, optimizing growth across seasons, and contributing to the success of the dairy farming project in Phu Yen. These findings can be applied to breeding programs, nutritional strategies, and overall farm management, contributing to the sustainable development of the local dairy industry.2.
