SECTION II. APPLIED BIOTECHNOLOGY IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY... 381+ Investigating correlation between recovery rate and the amount of sample: The CRM sample was analyzed using different initial sample weights of 10 mg, 20 mg, 50 mg, 70 mg, and 100 mg.+ Investigating impact of pH in the enzyme hydrolysis stage: Enzymes, which are protein-structured catalysts, are affected by changes in the pH. pH changes can lead to the ionization of amino acids, altering the shape and structure of the protein and, consequently, its function. Excessively high or low pH levels can cause most enzymes to lose activity. The optimal pH is the pH value at which an enzyme exhibits maximum activity. This study investigated the effect of pH on the effectiveness of enzyme treatment on a CRM sample, with pH levels ranging from 4 to 8.- Validating the method: specificity, standard curve, LOD, LOQ, accuracy, repeatability, intermediate precision, and uncertainty estimation.- Analyzing the samples of purple yam (Dioscorea alata) collected in Vietnam.2.6. Data processing Processing statistical data using Microsoft Excel 2020.3. RESULTS3.1. Investigation of sample preparationInvestigation of enzyme activityEach experiment was conducted in triplicate on a resistant starch sample (CRM 39%) to assess the recovery of resistant starch which is shown in Table 1.
