The PCR product was cloned into a pGEMT-easy vector and then sequenced to detect the mutation of the rpsL gene. The results are shown in Table 2. A. hibisca M4 strain contains one mutation at the codon 43 of the rpsL gene, in which, codon 43 (AAG) encoding for lysine in the wild type strain was replaced codon 43 (ATG) encoding for methionine in A. hibisca M4 strain.
