vertical farming model in greenhouses. There are 03 types of fertilizers tested in pilot
that applying for all in the field and the green house:

Experiment 1: Organic fertilizer (100%; symbol is Fert.1);
Experiment 2: Inorganic fertilizer 50% + Organic fertilizer 50% (symbol is Fert.2)
Experiment 3: Inorganic fertilizer (100%; symbol is Fert.3)
2.4. Monitoring indicators

3. Research results
3.1. Social perspective
To have a basis for informing training sessions for students and staff of the local
government and social organizations in HCMC, the research team conducted a survey
of 300 residents in HCMC demonstrating that city dwellers are increasingly concerned
about food quality, their health, and their living environment. Surveys undertaken in the

central Binh Thanh and Go Vap Districts in Ho Chi Minh City (table 1) show that, living
in townhouses decorated with green plants, creates a feeling of closeness to nature and
is favored by the majority of the surveyed urban residents. Survey results also provide
evidence that there is high willingness among households to establish such urban
gardens and that there is wide-spread willingness to apply technology to production.
More than 90% of survey respondents expressed the wish to adopt urban gardens and
more than 99% perceived the application of "vertical garden technology" and "soilless

culture" as an inevitable trend.
