Industrial Revolution, significantly contributing to breakthroughs in production
capacity, enhancing national competitiveness, and promoting sustainable economic
growth.
2. Method
This research uses data collection methods to search, gather, synthesize, and utilize
available information and data from reliable sources such as books, journals, and the
internet, as well as refer to the results of scientific studies (with clear citations to ensure
the accuracy and transparency of the collected data) to develop appropriate solutions.
From there, the impact of AI on the green economy is observed in key sectors of the
economy: energy management, agriculture, traffic management and urban planning, and
environmental monitoring.
3. Research results
Current Status of AI Application in Some Areas of the Green Economy, AI plays
a crucial role in promoting the green economy, helping to optimize resources and
minimize negative impacts on the environment. AI is applied in managing renewable
energy, such as smart grid systems that help predict and coordinate the supply from
wind, solar, and hydro energy. In sustainable agriculture, AI assists in analyzing soil,
forecasting weather, optimizing water and fertilizer use, and reducing waste and
environmental impact. Additionally, AI supports smart waste management, recycling,
and optimizing production processes to reduce carbon emissions. With its ability to
analyze large data sets and automate processes, AI significantly contributes to the
development of sustainable solutions, promoting the transition of the economy towards
a greener and more sustainable future.
In the report by the Ministry of Science and Technology on the current state of
artificial intelligence development in Vietnam, the distribution of AI application areas
across sectors and fields shows that natural language processing and computer vision
are more widely applied in various aspects of life. Below is the chart showing the current
distribution of AI application areas in Vietnam. The chart illustrates the percentage of
AI applications across various fields such as Natural Language Processing, Computer
Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, and Others.
