Abstract: In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has increasingly exerted significant
influence on the economies of many countries, including Vietnam. AI has been widely applied across
manufacturing industries, financial services and banking, e-commerce, and online services. It enhances
production processes, forecasts market demand, optimizes strategies, personalized user experiences,
analyzes data, evaluates risks, etc. Therefore, AI is applied to enhance resource efficiency,
environmental management, and natural conservation, build intelligent and sustainable systems,
promote innovation and the development of green technologies and services, strengthen disaster
management and natural disaster forecasting, which can help green economies achieve sustainable
growth and ecosystem preservation. This study focuses on analyzing the impacts of artificial intelligence
on Vietnam's green economy in aspects such as resource management, environment, energy, and
transportation. Based on an analysis of the challenges and opportunities associated with AI application,
the authors identify specific solutions to effectively leverage AI for promoting growth in Vietnam's green
                  economy.

                        1. Introduction

Along with breakthroughs in information technology in the context of the 4.0
Industrial Revolution, AI (Artificial Intelligence) is gradually becoming an
indispensable part of various economic sectors. AI is applied in all fields, from
manufacturing to services, thanks to its ability to analyze large datasets, automate
processes, and optimize performance. In the manufacturing sector, AI helps improve
supply chains, predict market demand, and reduce costs through automation. In finance,
AI is used to detect fraud, forecast market fluctuations, and manage risks. The retail

sector uses AI to optimize customer experience, personalize advertisements, and
forecast product demand. In healthcare, AI assists in disease diagnosis and the
                  development of personalized therapies.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of Computer Science, which is mainly
concerned with automation of Intelligent behavior. (Source: K.R.Chowdhary -

a set of algorithms that classify, process, and manipulate data and can learn by
statistically improving its accuracy and results. In development since the 1950s, AI can
perform tasks that traditionally require humans, such as grammar and spell checking,
translation, driving cars, and chess-playing. AI can perform legal case research, trade
stocks, translate languages, and be a personal trainer or assistant. The integration of AI
into these fields not only enhances efficiency and reduces costs but also creates
fundamental changes in how economic sectors operate and grow.
