This article will explore the phenomenon of using AI to generate references and how it presents
serious challenges to maintaining academic integrity. It will also propose a set of solutions to
address this issue. These include establishing clear policies for the use of artificial intelligence,
strengthening awareness and training on AI ethics, improving assessment practices, and adopting
advanced AI detection technologies.
