Effect of adsorption time on methylene blue adsorption capacityTo determine when the process reached equilibrium, the experiment was conducted at room temperature (25oC), with 10 mg of adsorbent, and pH = 7 and measured after each time period. Effect of adsorption time on methylene blue adsorption capacityAt the initial stages of the adsorption process, the adsorption capacity of the material increased with prolonged contact time. This behavior can be attributed to the high initial concentration of methylene blue (MB) in the solution, which promotes effective diffusion of MB molecules into the GO hydrogel matrix. Over time, as the contact duration extends, the concentration of MB in the solution diminishes, and the available pores within the hydrogel structure become progressively saturated with MB
