SECTION I: MOLECULAR GENETIC ENGINEERING AND BIOCHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY 241combined with comparisons to spectral data of corresponding substances in the literature. Notably, compound (7S,8R,8%u2019R)-5%u2019-methoxy isolariciresinol (5) is reported for the first time from the genus Persea. This is the first report on the chemical composition of avocado leaves in Vietnam. Further research on the chemical constituents and biological activities of Vietnamese avocado leaves will continue to be conducted to provide scientific evidence, contributing to a better understanding of the medicinal effects of avocado leaves and promoting their effective use in the prevention and treatment of certain human diseases.Funding: This study was performed under the financial support of project %u201cResearch on extraction, evaluation of pharmacological effects and preparation of products to support prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia and gastric ulcers from Avocado leaves (Persea americana) in Dak Nong province%u201d.Conflicts of Interest: The authors declare no conflict of interest.REFERENCES1.
