Abstract: This study aims to analyze the impact of factors including awareness, pressure from
stakeholders, financial factors, human resources, and technology on the “green growth” of production
and business establishments in the craft villages of Van Lam District, Hung Yen Province. The analysis
data are based on a survey conducted at 174 production and business establishments in the craft villages
of Van Lam District, Hung Yen Province. The methods used are exploratory factor analysis and
regression analysis. The analytical tool employed is SPSS 22. The results indicate that capital and
technology are the two most significant factors influencing the green growth of businesses. This study
provides valuable reference material for researchers using quantitative tools to assess the impact of
various factors on “green growth”. Additionally, the findings serve as a foundation for the policy and
development strategies of Van Lam District in particular, and Hung Yen Province in general.

                        1. Introduction
In response to the increasing negative impacts of global climate change, countries
are forced to change their economic development models. While the "brown" economic
development model previously enabled nations to achieve rapid growth, there is now a
greater focus on sustainable growth. "Green growth" has been discussed more frequently
as it serves as the foundation for sustainable economic development.
Van Lam district is famous for having 20 craft villages, making it the largest

number of craft villages in Hung Yen province. The craft village economy contributes
significantly to the district's overall budget. However, the level of environmental
pollution in these villages is quite severe. Therefore, finding solutions to help the
province achieve green growth is critical at this stage. To do so, it is necessary to identify
the factors influencing and the extent of their impact on green growth in these craft
villages. This is the central issue analyzed in this paper.

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which various factors impact green
growth in the craft villages of Van Lam Ddistrict and to identify the most important
factors to promote green growth for the province.
The research questions addressed in the paper include: What factors influence the
green growth of craft enterprises? Among these factors, which ones have the greatest
impact, and which ones have less influence? What recommendations can be given to
develop green economic growth in the craft villages of Van Lam district in particular,

and Hung Yen Province in general?

                        2.1. Concept of green growth
The term green growth is widely used globally today. Various organizations have
provided different definitions for this term. OECD (2011) “Green growth means
