                        Abstract: In Vietnam, E-commerce is currently developing at a rapid pace. However, with the
                  development of e-commerce, the effects of e-commerce waste are also a pressing and noteworthy issue.
                  Whether  more  or  less,  their  impact  on  the  environment  today  is  very  alarming.  This  requires  the
                  government, sellers as well as consumers to have practical solutions to limit the negative effects of waste
                  e-commerce. General article about e-commerce waste, the effects of e-commerce waste sustainable
                  economic  growth; analyze  the  actual situation through using secondary data sources from relevant
                  industry reports and primary data from e-commerce customer surveys, point out the causes and also
                  propose some solutions for relevant parties to aim at the goal of green economic growth.

                        1. Introduction
                        In the era of Industry 4.0, alongside the remarkable development of the Internet,

                  online  business  and  e-commerce  have  become  trends  that  deliver  high  economic
                  efficiency for many industries in Vietnam. Vietnam is a leading country in e-commerce
                  development in Southeast Asia, with an average growth rate exceeding 20% per year.
                  VECOM reported that e-commerce in the first quarter grew by over 22% compared to
                  the  same  period  last  year,  and  the  annual  growth  may  still  reach  over  25%  (EBI,
                  VECOM,  2023).  However,  e-commerce  in  Vietnam  also  faces  many  challenges  in
                  building a healthy and sustainable e-commerce market. In particular, e-commerce waste
                  is one of the major environmental challenges that could have concerning consequences

                  for our planet. For these reasons, to help individuals, organizations, businesses, and the
                  government  understand  the  impact  of  e-commerce  waste  on  sustainable  economic
                  development and the factors contributing to that impact, the authors have chosen the
                  research  topic  "The  Impact  of  E-Commerce  Waste  on  Green  Economic  Growth."
                  Although the analysis of the impact of e-commerce waste on green economic growth is

                  considered as a whole process, from the supply of inputs to production, distribution and
                  consumption, the article will focus on the distribution stage of e-commerce products. In
                  addition, e-commerce waste has both positive and negative impacts on green economic
                  growth, but this study focuses on the second ones.
