income level (5 - 15 million VND/month), the number of customers with demand for
green consumer credit is also quite large. Banks can classify customers' income to
provide products, credit limits and appropriate support programs.
Third, through the survey, from question II.1 to question II.6 and question II.8,
II.14 were answered with a mean value of over 4, in questions II.11, II.14 were answered
with a mean value of over 4, the group of authors found that most consumers are
interested in the environment, interested in green credit and want to use green industrial
products but they are hesitant about prices and interest. Therefore, the authors
recommend that Vietnamese commercial banks need to focus on perfecting and
developing green consumer loan products with simple lending processes, preferential
interest rates and shortening the time for making lending decisions.Vietnamese
commercial banks can cooperate with fintech companies to develop innovative financial
solutions and optimize the green consumer credit lending process. Banks can use
artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze data, assess creditworthiness and
make lending decisions quickly and accurately. Banks can implement after-sales
services after transactions such as green points reward programs (develop a program to
accumulate points for environmentally friendly transactions or actions, then allow
customers to redeem points for rewards or incentives).
Fourth, Vietnamese commercial banks need to improve consumers' access to green
industrial products by developing digital tools and platforms to help consumers easily
access and apply for green consumer credit. Specifically, the Government needs to
develop mobile applications that allow users to quickly and conveniently register for
green credit loans, track loan status and manage accounts, or build easy-to-use websites
that provide detailed information about green consumer credit products, registration
instructions and online support. At that time, consumers of green industrial products will
register for green credit loans online, reducing paperwork and waiting time; consumers
can use digital signatures and facial recognition to authenticate their identities and
complete the registration process quickly and safely. In addition, banks can provide
online loan calculators, providing calculation tools so that consumers of green credit
products can estimate loans, interest rates, and monthly installments; Provide online
financial consulting services to support consumers of green credit products to
understand green credit products and choose the right option.
Fifth, Vietnamese commercial banks need to organize seminars and events to raise
customer awareness of sustainable consumption and the benefits of green consumer
credit products. Banks can provide customer support via phone, online chat, email, and
social media to answer questions and support consumers in the process of registering
and using green consumer credit. Banks can provide guidance documents, instructional
videos, and organize webinars to help consumers understand the process and benefits of
green consumer credit. When consumer awareness of environmental protection and
green economic growth is enhanced, the demand for green products and green industrial
products also has the opportunity to develop.
