                        Moreover, it is necessary to diversify and improve the quality of logistics services
                  by inland waterways for different goods such as agricultural products, fruits, aquatic
                  products; ensure the ability to preserve goods and maintain the temperature required by
                  the goods owner during transit and transportation of goods.
                        Finally, actively apply IT to inland waterway logistics services for customers to
                  ensure customers are updated in real time on the status of goods being transported.
                        5. Conclusions
                        Inland waterway transport is a strategic and urgent direction for the Mekong Delta

                  to develop in a green and sustainable direction. The article has proposed two groups of
                  solutions related to the following two issues: infrastructure and logistics services  of
                  water transport. Those may support the Government and local officers in the Mekong
                  Delta choose the suitable direction to focus and add more resources for developing the
                  region in some way.
