(2020), companies that successfully integrate digital and green strategies are more likely
to achieve sustainable growth, reduce costs, and enhance their competitive advantage.
Moreover, businesses that prioritize both DT and GT are better positioned to meet
evolving consumer expectations and regulatory requirements, particularly in
international markets (UNCTAD, 2021). Several case studies illustrate the benefits of
integrating digital and green transformations. For example, VinFast, a Vietnamese
electric vehicle manufacturer, has adopted digital technologies to optimize its
production processes while committing to the development of sustainable transportation
solutions (Vietnam Investment Review, 2022). Similarly, Masan Group has leveraged
digital tools to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce its environmental footprint
through eco-friendly packaging and sustainable sourcing practices (Nguyen & Nguyen,
2021).
The existing literature demonstrates that both digital transformation and green
transformation are critical for the long-term success of businesses in Vietnam. While
these two processes present unique challenges, their convergence offers significant
opportunities for growth, innovation, and sustainability. The successful integration of
digital and green strategies requires overcoming financial, technological, and
organizational barriers, but the potential benefits—ranging from cost savings to
enhanced competitiveness—make it a worthwhile endeavor for Vietnamese enterprises.
Moving forward, further research is needed to explore specific case studies and best
practices that can guide businesses in navigating the dual transformation journey.

expectations, and rapid technological advancements are driving the need for businesses
to undergo digital transformation to remain competitive.
3.1.1. Drivers of digital transformation in Vietnam
Several key factors are propelling the digital transformation of Vietnamese
enterprises:
Government initiatives and policies

accelerate the country's digital economy. The National Digital Transformation Program
2025, approved in 2020, is a strategic initiative that outlines specific goals for digital

(Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications, 2020). The government’s
