3.3.4. Case studies of dual transformation in vietnam
Several Vietnamese enterprises have successfully integrated both digital and green

transformations, demonstrating the potential for businesses to thrive through dual
                  transformation.
Vietnam’s largest electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, VinFast, exemplifies the
synergy between digital and green transformation. The company has embraced
advanced digital technologies such as AI, IoT, and robotics to optimize its production
processes, increase operational efficiency, and reduce waste. At the same time, VinFast
is committed to producing electric vehicles, which align with global sustainability trends
and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation (Vietnam Investment Review,

2022). By combining digital innovation with a strong focus on environmental
sustainability, VinFast has positioned itself as a leader in both the digital and green
transformation spaces, gaining international recognition and market share. Masan
Group, a leading Vietnamese conglomerate, has integrated digital tools into its
operations to enhance supply chain transparency and efficiency. The company uses data
analytics and cloud computing to streamline logistics and production processes,

resulting in reduced resource consumption and improved operational efficiency.
Additionally, Masan Group has implemented eco-friendly packaging and sustainable
sourcing practices to minimize its environmental impact, demonstrating its commitment
to green transformation (Nguyen & Nguyen, 2021).
As Vietnam continues to pursue its goals of digital and green growth, the future of
dual transformation looks promising. However, the success of this dual transformation
will depend on several factors, including government support, investment in digital and

energy infrastructure, and the development of a skilled workforce. The Vietnamese
government’s ongoing efforts to promote digitalization and sustainability, coupled with
increasing demand for eco-friendly products from global markets, create a favorable
environment for businesses to embrace dual transformation. Moving forward,
Vietnamese enterprises that prioritize the integration of digital and green strategies will
not only enhance their competitiveness but also contribute to the country’s broader

                  economic and environmental goals.
                        4. Policy recommendations and solutions for dual transformation in
                  vietnamese enterprises
The successful implementation of both digital and green transformation (dual
transformation) in Vietnamese enterprises requires coordinated efforts from the
government, businesses, and other stakeholders. To overcome the challenges identified
and maximize the benefits of dual transformation, a combination of strategic policies
and practical solutions is essential. This section presents key policy recommendations

and actionable solutions that can enable Vietnamese enterprises to leverage digital
technologies while advancing their sustainability goals.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which make up the vast majority of
Vietnam’s business landscape, often face significant financial barriers to adopting
